The Coronavirus pandemic has left a lot of us feeling isolated, lonely and craving in-person interaction. It has been hard to stay so far away from friends and family. You miss coffee dates, happy hours with friends and family reunions. You have been able to connect with friends virtually, but it’s just not the same.

You’ve been stuck in your house for over a year and are getting a bit stir-crazy. You want to leave the house but you want to be sure you’re being safe and responsible. A little fresh air and weekend getaway is just what you’re looking for.

Yoga, Hiking, Craft Beer and Connection

You’re ready to get out of the house and take a breath of fresh air in the mountains. Time away will help you feel grounded, refreshed and rejuvenated. It’s time to let yourself have a weekend focused on YOU and YOUR well-being.

You’re excited to spend time connecting with other people. REAL live people – not on a screen. Even better, you get to connect with other people in a relaxed environment with a hot tub and beautiful view. And to be able to do yoga in a group again? It seems too good to be true.

This yoga retreat is designed to reconnect you with other people while enjoying the serenity of being in the mountains. Join me for a 3-night stay in a beautiful home in Maine for yoga, hiking and craft beer! You’ll have yoga classes every morning, two optional yoga workshops on Saturday and endless opportunities to relax, read and/or chill in the hot tub.

Two Optional Workshops

  1. Inversion Workshop: Play time! Learn the foundations of inversions and practice getting upside down with fellow yogis at the retreat.
  2. Oils & Yoga Workshop: Learn the benefits of essential oils and how you can incorporate them into your daily practice. You will receive ~5 oil samples in this workshop to take with you!

Itinerary

Thursday, September 23rd

Arrive at the Boston Airport before 12pm because the shuttle will leave at noon! We’ll drive 3 hours north to Newry, Maine – just outside of the White Mountains. We’ll get settled in and have a group dinner but the rest of the evening is to RELAX and enjoy the views!

Friday, September 24th

We’ll start our day with breakfast and a morning yoga/meditation practice. After breakfast, we’ll hit the trails for a ~5-7 mile hike among the colorful leaves and spend the afternoon at a local brewery. There’s nothing better than a cold beer and good food after burning so many calories! Back at the house, we’ll have a free evening + group dinner. Optional Yin Yoga class will be offered in the evening to stretch out after the hike!

Saturday, September 25th

Wake up with breakfast and yoga/meditation as always but the rest of the day is totally up to you! We’ll have TWO optional yoga workshops – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. So choose to fill your day with yoga or have a completely free day in the mountains. We’ll finish the day strong together with a sunset hike.

Sunday, September 26th

Sad day. Time to leave the mountains. We’ll have a yoga/meditation practice in the morning and then a wrap-up/final soak in the hot tub before we start our 3-hour journey back to the Boston Airport. We will get to the Boston airport ~2:30pm so please schedule flights accordingly.

Accommodation

We will be staying at this beautiful 5-bedroom home in Newry, Maine with stunning mountain views. This home has a hot tub, grill, wrap-around porch and great open space for yoga classes! The house is a 3-hour drive from Boston Airport and located right outside of the White Mountain National Forest.

Master Bedroom

You get your own bedroom, bathroom and TWO large walk-in closets! Spend a weekend in luxury with this master suite.

Private Room

Enjoy a private room with a queen bed. Group time is fun and all, but it’s nice to have some alone time. Staying in a private room gives you the best of both worlds! There are two private bedrooms available.

Single Occupancy: $1400/person

Double Occupancy: $1250/person

This is a shared room with two twin/single beds.

Frequently asked questions

No, the flights are not included in the price. However, transportation to/from the airport IS included.

Yes, of course! The more the merrier. There are private room options if you and your significant other would like your own room.

No, all levels are welcome. The daily yoga classes will be vinyasa flow classes, but I provide options so you can practice at a level that feels good for you.

Fly into Boston Airport (BOS). Please be sure you arrive before 12pm on Thursday, September 23rd and have a departing flight after 3pm on Sunday, September 26th.

“Single Occupancy” means that you will be staying in the room by yourself. “Double Occupancy” means you will be sharing that room/bed with a friend or significant other.
